Why are many Arthur Andrew products proprietary?
Posted by Aaron Gillam on
Many may wonder why certain Arthur Andrew products are kept proprietary. Proprietary formulas have their pros and cons, and to a client's eyes may have more cons than pros. However, the main issue specific to enzymes is that they are not like vitamins that can simply be measured by weight. We at Arthur Andrew continue to stand behind our products, but must also comply with ever-changing regulations as put forth by the FDA and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Enzymes and probiotics have differing levels of shelf-stability, and blending them creates an even more complex...

Acid Armor Capsules by Arthur Andrew Medical are a revolutionary new capsule that acts like an enteric coating. Acid Armor are made of an extra-thick layer of cellulose (the main component of veggie caps) and are a much healthier option than enteric coatings. Enteric coatings us Phthalates which are plastic chemical polymers. These same chemicals are banned in childrens toys, so we wouldn't even think about adding them to any of our products. Acid Armor capsules have a better-designed way of fitting the two sides of the capsules together, which limits leaking. Acid Armor capsules have also been designed to...
